“In the exhibition “Paper or Plastic: 7 Years,” Bradley Wester installs and reworks seven years worth of paintings, collages, drawings, digital prints and sculpture. Wester, who considers himself primarily a painter, assembles common packaging, stationery store labels and stickers, and rearranges them into images that refer to icons as diverse as computer circuitry, modernist grids, the Italian Baroque, and Japanese anime.”
